- The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the number of people in America who are 65 and older will hit 70 million by 2030.
- More than 5.8 million suffer from Alzheimer’s disease, according to the Alzheimer’s Association, and that number is expected to increase to 14 million people by 2050.
- The Alzheimer’s Association reports that someone contracts the disease every 65 seconds in the United States.
